Baby Gift Set “Leo Cat” – Lovey & Merino Wool Booties

This baby gift set is a carefully coordinated combination of two handmade items, created for tiny feet, curious little hands and cosy cuddling moments.

The set includes a hand-crocheted Leo cat lovey and hand-knitted merino wool booties, with the bootie style, size and colours customisable to your preferences.

The lovey is carefully crocheted from 100% cotton yarn and filled with hypoallergenic polyester filling. Its soft crocheted texture, the cat’s little arms and legs, and other easy-to-grasp details invite your baby to touch, explore and cuddle.

The booties are carefully hand-knitted from 100% merino wool. When ordering, you can choose between lightweight or thicker merino wool booties, select the desired size, choose a design with or without a decorative cable-knit cuff, and select either a single-colour or two-colour combination.

For two-colour booties, select the main bootie colour separately from the edging and tie colour. This allows you to create an individual colour combination that complements the entire set.

Leo’s lovely bow adds a distinctive finishing touch, and its colour can be coordinated with your chosen booties. If you would prefer a different colour for the bow or booties, or a colour combination that is not offered among the available options for this set, please contact us at hello@littleheartsnest.com or through our social media channels before placing your order. Let us know which colours you would like, and we will confirm whether we can create your requested combination, depending on the yarn shades currently available to us or available to order.

The final price of the set depends on the selected bootie size and merino wool option. The set makes a cosy and meaningful gift for a new baby, christening, baby shower or welcome-baby celebration – or simply a lovely handmade set for your own little one.

If the set is marked “In Stock”, the items in the selected variant have already been made and are ready to ship. If the selected set or variant is currently out of stock, the items will be carefully made to order. The usual production time for this set is 5–10 business days, depending on the number of orders currently in progress.

Each item in the set is carefully crocheted or knitted by hand in our Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania. As a result, the size, shape, crochet or knitting tension and placement of small details may vary slightly from one handmade item to another.

These small variations are not flaws – they are part of the unique character of each handmade piece.

Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting conditions, the actual colours of the items may vary slightly from those shown in the photographs.

The Leo cat lovey is made using a crochet pattern designed by Inna Chybinova (@inna_chi_hm). Copyright for the crochet pattern belongs to its original designer. The merino wool booties are knitted using a knitting pattern designed by @happyknitball. Pattern design and copyright belong to the original designer.

The finished products based on these patterns are carefully crocheted and knitted by hand in our Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania.

Lovey

Hand wash in lukewarm water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, using a gentle baby detergent.

Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning products or fabric softener.

After washing, do not rub, wring or twist the lovey. Gently press out excess water by hand, then roll the item in a clean towel and press lightly to absorb the remaining moisture.

Reshape the lovey and allow it to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry. Do not iron or dry clean.

Merino Wool Booties

Hand wash in water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, using a gentle detergent suitable for wool.

Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not rub, wring or twist the booties.

Gently press out excess water, reshape the booties and allow them to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry.
