Baby Gift Set “Polar Bear” – Musical Toy & Merino Wool Booties

This baby gift set is a carefully coordinated combination of two handmade items, bringing together the gentle sound of a lullaby and the warmth of merino wool for tiny feet.

The set includes the hand-crocheted musical toy “Polar Bear” and hand-knitted merino wool booties, with the bootie style, size and colours customisable to your preferences.

The musical bear is carefully crocheted by hand from 100% cotton yarn. Its pleasant crocheted texture, long arms and legs, and soft details invite little hands to touch, explore and discover different sensory experiences.

A mechanical music mechanism is built into the toy. A small natural wooden ring is attached to a cord at the bottom of the bear. Gently pulling the ring starts playing the well-known lullaby by Johannes Brahms. The music mechanism works mechanically, so no batteries are required.

Soft shades of grey, white and blue, embroidered closed eyes, rosy cheeks and a cosy scarf give the little bear its sweet and peaceful character.

The booties are carefully hand-knitted from 100% merino wool. When ordering, you can choose between lightweight or thicker merino wool booties, select the desired size, choose a design with or without a decorative cable-knit cuff, and select either a single-colour or two-colour combination.

For two-colour booties, select the main bootie colour separately from the edging and tie colour. This allows you to create an individual colour combination that complements the entire set.

The final price of the set depends on the selected bootie size and merino wool option.

If the selected set or variant is currently out of stock, the items will be carefully made to order. The usual production time for this set is 5–10 business days, depending on the number of orders currently in progress.

Each item in the set is carefully crocheted or knitted by hand in our Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania. As a result, the size, shape, crochet or knitting tension, and placement of small details may vary slightly from one handmade item to another.

These small variations are not flaws – they are part of the unique character of each handmade piece.

Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting conditions, the actual colours of the items may vary slightly from those shown in the photographs.

The musical toy “Polar Bear” is made using a crochet pattern designed by Inna Chybinova (@inna_chi_hm). Copyright for the crochet pattern belongs to its original designer.

The merino wool booties are knitted using a knitting pattern designed by @happyknitball. Pattern design and copyright belong to the original designer.

The finished products based on these patterns are carefully crocheted and knitted by hand in our Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania.

Musical Toy

Hand wash in lukewarm water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, using a gentle baby detergent.

Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning products or fabric softener.

Wash gently and do not soak for prolonged periods.

Do not rub, wring or twist the toy.

Gently press out excess water by hand, then roll the toy in a clean towel and press lightly to absorb the remaining moisture.

Reshape the toy and allow it to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry. Do not iron or dry clean.

After washing, gently dry the wooden ring and allow it to air dry naturally.

Before using the toy again, make sure that the toy, wooden ring and cord are completely dry.

Merino Wool Booties

Hand wash in water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, using a gentle detergent suitable for wool.

Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not rub, wring or twist the booties.

Gently press out excess water, reshape the booties and allow them to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry.
