Baby Gift Set “Little Giraffe” – Crochet Rattle & Merino Wool Booties

This Baby Gift Set is a thoughtfully coordinated set of two handmade pieces, created for tiny feet, curious little hands and baby’s first discoveries.

The set includes a hand-crocheted giraffe rattle with a natural wooden ring and hand-knitted merino wool booties, with the style, size and colour combination of the booties customisable to your preferences.

The rattle is crocheted from certified 100% cotton yarn. The pleasant texture of the crocheted surface encourages little hands to touch and explore, while a softly sounding rattle sewn securely inside the toy stimulates curiosity and hearing. The natural, untreated wooden ring is easy for tiny hands to grasp.

The booties are carefully hand-knitted from 100% merino wool. When ordering, you can choose between lightweight or thicker merino wool booties, select the required size, choose a design with or without a decorative cable, and opt for either a single-colour or two-colour combination.

For this set, the booties are available in a selection of yellow, beige and brown shades, chosen to coordinate beautifully with the Little Giraffe. For two-colour booties, you can select the main bootie colour separately from the edging and tie colour.

The final price of the set depends on the selected bootie size and merino wool option.

If the set is marked “In Stock”, the items in the selected option have already been made and are ready to ship.

If the selected set or option is not currently in stock, the items will be carefully handmade to order. The usual production time for this set is 3–7 business days, depending on the number of orders we are currently working on.

Each item in the set is carefully crocheted or knitted by hand in our Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania. As a result, the size, shape, crochet or knitting tension and placement of small details may vary slightly from one handmade piece to another.

These small variations are not imperfections – they are part of the unique character of each handmade item.

Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting conditions, the actual colours of the products may vary slightly from those shown in the photographs.

The rattle is made using a crochet pattern designed by Inna Chybinova (@inna_chi_hm). Copyright for the crochet pattern belongs to its original designer. The merino wool booties are knitted using a knitting pattern designed by @happyknitball. Pattern design and copyright belong to the original designer.

The finished pieces created from these patterns are carefully crocheted and hand-knitted in our Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania.

Rattle

Hand wash in lukewarm water at a temperature no higher than 30°C, using a gentle detergent suitable for baby items.

Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning products or fabric softeners.

After washing, do not rub, wring or twist the toy. Gently press out excess water by hand, then wrap the item in a clean towel and press lightly to absorb the remaining moisture.

Reshape the toy while damp and allow it to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry. Heat may deform the crocheted cotton surface, alter the shape of the toy and damage the wooden ring.

Do not iron or dry clean.

The wooden ring may be gently wiped with a clean, slightly damp cloth and allowed to dry completely and naturally. Do not soak the wooden ring for longer than necessary when washing the toy.

Merino Wool Booties

Hand wash in water no warmer than 30°C, using a gentle detergent suitable for wool.

Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Do not rub, wring or twist the booties.

Gently press out excess water, reshape the booties while damp and allow them to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry.
