Fine Merino Wool Knitted Baby Booties – Classic

Hand-knitted “Classic” baby booties – soft, lightweight and cosy for tiny feet from the very first days of life.

The booties are knitted from fine 100% merino wool, which is soft, gentle to the touch and helps maintain a comfortable body temperature. The finer knit wraps little feet in gentle warmth, making these booties especially suitable for spring, summer and early autumn, as well as for wearing at home or in other warmer indoor spaces.

This is a lighter merino wool option for times when the extra warmth associated with the colder season is not yet needed.

The classic shape is complemented by a higher, stretchy cuff and knitted ties that help keep the booties securely in place on your baby’s feet. You can choose between two cuff designs – classic and smooth or finished with a decorative cable-knit detail.

Each pair is knitted by hand in the “Little Hearts Nest” studio in Lithuania, with careful attention given to shaping the foot, cuff and every delicate finishing detail.

Create Your Own Booties

To make the booties just as you would like them for your little one or as a gift, you can choose:

the bootie size; the cuff design – with or without a decorative cable-knit detail; a single-colour or two-colour design; your preferred colour or colour combination.

If you choose the single-colour design, the entire pair will be knitted in your selected colour.

With the two-colour design, you can combine the main bootie colour with a contrasting colour for the edging and ties. This allows you to create either a subtle, harmonious combination or a more playful design featuring two contrasting colours.

These tiny hand-knitted booties are not only a cosy addition to a baby’s wardrobe but also a thoughtful gift to celebrate a new baby, a christening, a baby shower or a first visit to meet the little one.

Recommended age: The booties are intended for babies and young children according to the selected size.

The booties will be beautifully presented in a gift box tied with a satin ribbon. We can also include a card with your chosen wording, such as the baby’s name or a short personal message. Please enter your desired text in the designated field during checkout.

The gift-wrapping service costs €5.

If the product is marked as “In Stock”, it has already been made and is ready to be dispatched.

If the product is currently out of stock, it will be carefully made to order. The usual production time for a pair of booties is 3–5 business days, depending on the number of orders currently in progress.

Each pair of booties is carefully knitted by hand at the Little Hearts Nest studio in Lithuania. Due to the handmade nature of the product, slight variations in size, shape, knitting tension or the placement of small details may occur.

These subtle variations are not defects – they are a natural characteristic of handmade craftsmanship and give each pair its own unique character.

Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting conditions, the actual colour of the product may vary slightly from what is shown in the images.

The booties are knitted using a knitting pattern created by @happyknitball. Credit for the knitting pattern belongs to its original designer. The finished product made from the pattern is carefully hand-knitted at the Little Hearts Nest studio in Lithuania.

Gently hand wash in lukewarm water at a temperature no higher than 30°C / 86°F, using a mild detergent suitable for wool or baby clothing.

Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning agents or fabric softeners.

Do not rub, stretch, wring or twist the booties while washing. Gently press out excess water by hand, then wrap them in a clean towel and press lightly to absorb the remaining moisture.

While still damp, carefully reshape the booties and allow them to air dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry or place directly on a radiator or other heat source. Heat and excessive mechanical action may cause the merino wool knit to shrink or lose its shape.

Do not iron or dry clean.
