Lightweight Merino Wool Booties

Hand-knitted Classic baby booties are soft, lightweight and cosy, designed to keep tiny feet comfortably warm from the very first days of life.

The booties are knitted from fine 100% merino wool, which feels soft and gentle against the skin and naturally helps regulate temperature. The finer knit provides comfortable warmth without the heaviness of thicker wool, making these booties particularly suitable for spring, summer and early autumn, as well as for wearing at home or in other warmer indoor environments where the extra warmth of thicker wool is not needed.

They are a lovely choice whenever you want to gently wrap your baby’s feet in natural merino wool while keeping them light and comfortably warm without the bulk of a thicker wool knit.

The classic shape is complemented by a higher, stretchy knitted cuff and soft knitted ties that help keep the booties securely on little feet. You can choose between two cuff designs – a classic ribbed cuff or a cuff finished with a decorative cable-knit detail.

Each pair is carefully knitted by hand at the Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania, with special attention given to shaping the foot, cuff and finishing details.

Create Your Own Booties

To make your baby booties just the way you would like them – whether for your own little one or as a special gift – you can choose:

- the bootie size; - the cuff design – with or without a decorative cable-knit detail; - a single-colour or two-colour design; - your preferred colour or colour combination.

For single-colour booties, the entire pair is knitted in your chosen main colour.

For two-colour booties, you can select the main bootie colour and a contrasting edging and tie colour separately. This allows you to create either a subtle, harmonious colour combination or a more playful and contrasting two-colour design.

As yarn colour availability may vary, custom colour requests will be considered and confirmed individually.

The booties will be beautifully presented in a gift box tied with a satin ribbon. We can also include a card with your chosen wording, such as the baby’s name or a short personal message. Please enter your desired text in the designated field during checkout.

The gift-wrapping service costs €5.

If the product is marked as “In Stock”, it has already been made and is ready to be dispatched.

If the product is currently out of stock, it will be carefully made to order. The usual production time for a pair of booties is 3–5 business days, depending on the number of orders currently in progress.

Each pair of booties is carefully knitted by hand at the Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania. Due to the handmade nature of the product, slight variations in size, shape, knitting tension or the placement of small details may occur.

These subtle variations are not defects – they are a natural characteristic of handmade craftsmanship and give each pair its own unique character.

Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting conditions, the actual colour of the product may vary slightly from what is shown in the images.

The booties are knitted using a knitting pattern created by @happyknitball. Credit for the knitting pattern belongs to its original designer. The finished product made from the pattern is carefully hand-knitted at the Littleheartsnest studio in Lithuania.

Gently hand wash in lukewarm water at a temperature no higher than 30°C / 86°F, using a mild detergent suitable for wool or baby clothing.

Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning agents or fabric softeners.

Do not rub, stretch, wring or twist the booties while washing. Gently press out excess water by hand, then wrap them in a clean towel and press lightly to absorb the remaining moisture.

While still damp, carefully reshape the booties and allow them to air dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry or place directly on a radiator or other heat source. Heat and excessive mechanical action may cause the merino wool knit to shrink or lose its shape.

Do not iron or dry clean.
