Thick Merino Wool Hand-Knitted Baby Booties “Classic”

Hand-knitted “Classic” baby booties – warm, soft and cosy for tiny feet from the very first days of life.

The booties are knitted from thicker 100% merino wool, which is soft, gentle to the touch and helps maintain a comfortable body temperature. The thicker knit wraps little feet in cosy warmth, making these booties especially suitable for cooler autumn days, winter and early spring, as well as for wearing at home or in other cooler indoor spaces.

This is a warmer merino wool option for times when your baby’s feet need a little extra cosiness and protection from the cold.

The classic shape is complemented by a higher, stretchy cuff and knitted ties that help keep the booties securely in place on your baby’s feet. You can choose between two cuff designs – classic and smooth or finished with a decorative cable-knit detail.

Each pair is knitted by hand in the “Littleheartsnest” studio in Lithuania, with careful attention given to shaping the foot, cuff and every delicate finishing detail.

Create Your Own Booties

To make the booties just as you would like them for your little one or as a gift, you can choose:

- the bootie size; - the cuff design – with or without a decorative cable-knit detail; - a single-colour or two-colour design; - your preferred colour or colour combination.

If you choose the single-colour design, the entire pair will be knitted in your selected colour.

With the two-colour design, you can combine the main bootie colour with a contrasting colour for the edging and ties. This allows you to create either a subtle, harmonious combination or a more playful design featuring two contrasting colours.

These tiny hand-knitted booties are not only a warm and cosy addition to a baby’s wardrobe but also a thoughtful gift to celebrate a new baby, a christening, a baby shower or a first visit to meet the little one.

• Depending on the selected bootie colour and merino wool option, yarns from different manufacturers may be used.
• The lightweight merino wool booties are a lighter option, particularly suitable for spring, summer, early autumn and warmer indoor spaces.
• The thicker merino wool booties provide additional warmth and cosiness for little feet during cooler weather.

If you would like the booties to arrive ready for gifting, select the “Gift Wrapping” option when placing your order. We will package the booties in a beautiful gift box tied with a satin ribbon. We can also include a card with your chosen text, such as the baby’s name or a short personal message. Please enter the wording for the card in the designated field when placing your order. The gift-wrapping service costs €5.

If the product is marked “In Stock”, it has already been made and is ready to ship. If the product is not currently in stock, it will be carefully made to order. The usual production time for the booties is 3–5 business days, depending on the number of orders currently in progress. Production time does not include delivery time. Each pair of booties is carefully knitted by hand in the “Littleheartsnest” studio in Lithuania. Due to the handmade nature of the product, the size, knitting tension, shape or placement of small details may vary slightly between individual pairs. These small variations are not flaws – they are a natural part of the handmade process and give each pair of booties its own individual character and uniqueness. Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting conditions, the actual colour of the product may vary slightly from how it appears in the photographs.

The booties are knitted using a knitting pattern created by @happyknitball. Copyright in the knitting pattern belongs to its creator. The finished product made using this pattern is carefully hand-knitted in the “Littleheartsnest” studio in Lithuania.

Hand wash in lukewarm water at a temperature no higher than 30°C, using a mild detergent suitable for wool or baby clothing.

Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning products or fabric softeners.

Do not rub, stretch, wring or twist the booties while washing. Gently press out excess water by hand, then roll the booties in a clean towel and press lightly to absorb the remaining moisture.

While the booties are still damp, carefully reshape them and leave them to dry naturally, laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Do not tumble dry or place directly on a radiator or other heat source. Heat and intensive mechanical action may shrink or distort the merino wool knit.

Do not iron or dry clean.
